Birth 101


This 3-hour class is a condensed version of our How, When, and Why comprehensive childbirth class. Learn the essentials of labor and birth. Topics include:

  • Communicating with your partner
  • Medical and non-medical pain relief options
  • Comfort measures and positions for labor and birth
  • Exploring options and writing a birth plan
  • Signs of labor and in-labor progression
  • Anatomy of birth and fetal positioning

Each family will receive “Preparing for Birth”, an 80-page comprehensive guidebook that includes stages of labor, comfort measures, interventions, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and the basics of breastfeeding.
