“I came from Love and I am Love and I will return to Love. Love casts out fear.” Stevie truly believes that this is the essence of who we are, and that we can infuse love into every part of our being in order to be of greater service to ourselves and the community at large. Few things in her life she has known for certain. All have been callings to serve.
Stevie felt the pull to birth work after leading thousands of hours of movement through the lens of yoga. She felt inspired to support women to embrace their own embodiment, power, and incredible potential as they embark on one of their greatest life experiences.
She believes there is room for compassion and respect at every birth, and embraces the evidence that a person who actively participates in their experience will have a healthier birth for their baby, their-self, and their family; physically and emotionally.
When she isn’t present in birth work, most days Stevie can be found dancing on her own mat, leading yoga teacher trainings or community practices. During “free” time, she may be immersed in her own study, enjoying live music, eating delicious (vegan!) food, or adventuring the outdoors. Just as likely, she’s curled up with her yorkie soulmate, Stud. Stevie recently added the role of mother to her resume. Her sonshine was born at home into the loving hands of his father and midwife.
