Our postpartum support is perfectly tailored to the needs of your family. Your day-to-day support can include light housekeeping, breastfeeding support, assistance with your other children, hands-on newborn care education, a familiar face to talk to, and more. Enjoy a hot shower while your doula starts a load of laundry or take a restorative nap while they take your newborn for a walk. Spend some sweet alone time with your baby while your doula runs your errands or venture out together as your doula teaches you to do so with a new baby in arms. Gain confidence in feeding with hands-on, personal support and learn valuable information on baby sleep habits, growth, diapering, and more. Whatever your needs are, the postpartum doulas at Doulas of Northern Virginia are here to support and celebrate you on your journey of parenthood.
Daytime postpartum support is available for $40/hour and overnight support for $45/hour. Your doula can support your family for a minimum of four hours during the day or eight hours at night. Your doula can also provide 24-hour support as well as short-term, live-in care. Looking for longer-term care throughout baby’s first year? We offer discounts for packages over 500 hours.
